Tryvann Upphill
As the only capitol in the world, Oslo has an uphill race. The race is organised by Sportsklubben Vidar and made possible by our sponsors; Powerade, Puma, Sport 1 and Sportsmaster. Tryvann Uphill is arranged with both a competition class with individual timekeeping, and also with a fun-run class without timekeeping.
The track starts at Midtstuen station 225 metres above sea level and ends at Tryvann 528 metres above sea level. The difference in altitude is 303 metres between start and finish and the total running distance is 4,9km.
Tryvann is the best place to be for a spectacular view of Oslo.
Classification
The classification of Tryvann Uphill for the competition class is divided in the following age groups:

There is also a possibility to register at the secretariat in Midstuen at the 22.August from 11.00-13.00. Please be aware that we might be sold out.
Start times
The startarea is about 100m up from Midstuen station(tram to Holmenkollen).Se map.
The start for the group without timekeeping is at Saturday at 14.00
The first start in the competition with timekeeping is at 14.45 and the second group starts at 15.05.
The groups will be divided in 14.45 (Woman and menn 50+) and 15.05 (menn 12-50 years).
Walk to the right so that the runners is able to pass by.
Prizes
All finishers are winners and are awarded beautiful medals after crossing the finishing line at Tryvann Up.
There will be money rewards in the competition with timekeeping given by Puma. For both woman and men for first, second and third place. The reward is as follows;
1.place – NOK 5000
2.place – NOK 3000
3.place – NOK 2000
Vinner of the age group 12-13 years - NOK 1000
